...these vintage postcard landscape pieces. They are all one of a kind with made from scratch bezels and authentic bits of old postcards. I'm fond of the gloaming sky and the stacks of haystacks, but I also like forgetting that I know there is imagery there and seeing them as pieces of tumbled stone with lovely layers of colorful sedimentation.

That peachy horizon line is something, isn't it? I love the hazy shades in painted black and white photos.

I've also been knitting up a storm lately and was delighted that Quince & Co compared the colors in their Tern yarn palette to "vintage painted photographs". I need to finish some of these knitting projects so I can make room for kelp, driftwood, and columbine. Probably back bay, too! And sea grass.
